Unidata and the Department of applied cybernetics of Mathematics and Mechanics faculty of St. Petersburg State University announced a cooperation. We are talking about monitoring course and theses, participating in educational process and experience exchanging.

Mathematics and Mechanics faculty of St. Petersburg State University – one of the largest educational and scientific centers of Russia, a powerful source of professional staff for specialists in the sphere of an IT. For many years St.Petersburg State University attracts to itself with an opportunity to get a fundamental education of the most serious and capable entrants who are interested in mathematics, mechanics, information technologies and astronomy.

– We have long sought a powerful and reliable partner in the academic environment. – explained Unidata Executive director Alexey Tsyryulnikov. – We really want to make the contribution to development of the direction of data management, to bring up new generation of specialists in this area and to build a long-term cooperation with higher educational institutions.

– We consider that within the project of St.Petersburg State University “Open education”. Together with Unidata we will be able to solve the most difficult educational, research and applied tasks – said Nikolay Kuznetsov, head of the Applied Cybernetics Department of St. Petersburg State University. – Unidata not only capable to introduce required novelty in educational process and to contribute to development of science but also to become the applied platform for education of talented youth.
