Unidata will take part in the GIS-forum 2017, one of the most significant events for professionals in the field of geoinformatics, Earth’s remote sensing, BigData and information technologies. The organizer is the Russian integrator in the field of geoinformation technologies and space monitoring, the company Sovzond. The event will be held in Moscow, in the Park Hotel Imperial. The forum topics will include import substitution, economic efficiency of introduction of geoinformation technologies, maintenance of large data sets and other key drivers of the industry development.
On Wednesday, April 19, 2017, Chief Architect of Unidata, Alexei Tsyryulnikov, will speak at the plenary session with a report “Federal level systems. Managing NSI using the GIS module Unidata”. After the presentations an open discussion is expected during which the participants will discuss how fast-growing products and services will be as well as identify the factors that slow down the progress of certain technologies in the Russian realities.
